TECH

Our swiss army knife of mountain bike wheels: technical XC race, light enduro, endurance, or just good plain mountain biking! The AM727's are really light, fast, compliant, and can create a quiver-killer wheelset.

A sensible 27mm internal width keeps things modern, but doesn't overkill in the stiffness or width department. Want to run 2.1" tires for an XC race one day, 2.3's for an all day epic, then burly 2.4's for some double black trails the next? No problem! The AM727's are a great choice for riders wanting a versatile lightweight wheels that feels at home on a wide range of terrain.

Hi there! I'm looking for rear wheel only. How much this costs? The hubs run ceramic bearings? Thanks!

LightBicycle 2020/09/28

Hi Alin, Onyx Vesper hubs are with ceramic bearing. The AM727 650B rear wheel will be around USD800 if it is with Onyx Versper rear hub. Thanks, Lightbicyle

Darren 2020/05/12

Hello, I'm looking for a light weight 650B tubeless disc wheel set to replace the set that came stock on my Ibis Hakka MX gravel bike. Here's the link to the bike specifications: https://www.ibiscycles.com/bikes/hakka-mx ...and here's the specifications of the current wheel set (733 Aluminum): https://www.ibiscycles.com/wheels/details/?wheelset=854 I am running a SRAM XD cassette. I'd like to continue to run 2.1" width tires, or somewhere close to that. What rim (maybe the AM727 rim?), spokes and hubs build would you recommend and what would be the cost in Canadian dollars? I am 150 lb (68 kg) and would like the lightest build for my weight but still strong enough to withstand the rigours of gravel biking.

LightBicycle 2020/05/12

Hi Darren, We just sent you an email for quotation with this 650B wheelset and weight. Please check. Thanks, Lightbicycle
