Brian : I thought I'd show you where & what the new wheels are being used for. I use them as my bikepacking/adventure wheel set. I've attached a couple of photos from a recent overnighter. They're fantastic. Thanks again for such wonderful service.

I want to purchase a pair (2 rims) of Recon Pro AM935 in 32 holes, from the Canadian warehouse. The finish is unimportant if I can save time and money getting them from North America. What exactly do you have there? I am a returning customer, very happy and impressed with my previous rims from Light Bicycle. Thank You Tad Teays The Dalles, Oregon

Hi Tad, We do have AM935 32H rims 29er stock in the Canada warehouse. We sent you the quotation in email. Please check. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi which of your wheelsets (carbon/Alu) do you recommend for a surly ecr with 3“ (tubeless ready)? Can I save some weight if I do not go for 40mm, or is this not safe to go for 35mm or 30? Thanks mark

LightBicycle 2022/12/08

Hi Mark, Hi Mark, We only sell carbon bike wheels . And we got some great suited wheels as per your request. 1. For 3" tires, we recommend using wider rims. So 32mm internal would work. 2. Can you tell me more about your riding style and personal profile so I can make better recommendations for you. 3. We can reduce the weight by building with lighter hubs and parts. Do you have a preferred budget range in mind? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hi. Good Afternoon! I was wondering if it would be possible to send you a set of hubs and spokes and have them built into a wheelset?? If this is possible could you also do custom decals on the rims and hubs?? Cheers!

LightBicycle 2021/05/22

Hi Robert, It is okay to send us the hubs, and we can build mtb wheelset 29er for you. Are you hubs normal lacing pattern? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Hello, I had a question about two of your 29er rims. I was looking at the AM 935 and the EN 934. I usually run tires between 2.6 and 2.8, weigh close to 200lbs and often bikepack. The AM 935 have a weight limit of 140kg while the EN 934 has a weight limit of 125kg while claiming to be one of your stiffest options. Can you explain the difference in weight limits as well as make a recommendation. Thanks, Mike

LightBicycle 2021/01/30

Hi Mike, As the model name indicates, the AM935 was designed for All-Mountain 29er riding. On the other hand, the EN rims are for Enduro riding, which is way more aggressive than AM riding. The wheels suffer from big drops and force. We evaluate both the durability and strength of the wheels to adjust the rider weight recommendation range. I hope this makes sense. On the other hand, if you are a super aggressive rider, we can make a specially reinforced version for you. Thanks, Lightbicycle
