Disc: The disc hub has optional 6-bolt or center lock version.The matched disc rim does not have a brake track and features a unique disc specific layup process. Our new layup is about 10g ~30g lighter by reducing the unnecessary material and utilizing elements of our Flyweight construction method.

Non Disc(Rim brake): By default, the rim brake 700C road rims come with an advanced High TG surface whose braking power and reliability is significantly improved over a basalt braking surface.

54T - Super fast engagement, but shallow teeth require more careful re-greasing and the thru-axle should be checked every ride.

24T - Made out of hardened steel as e-bike specific.

EXP 36 - With only a single spring, making the hubs faster and lighter. More precise contact makes a longer lifespan.

Pillar Wing 20 - Pillar patented highest level of aerodynamic bladed spoke reducing potential weak spots and twisting during tensioning. Currently, they are offered in oil slick color only with increased wear and corrosion resistance.

Non Disc - High TG Surface: Rim Brake 700C road rims use an advanced High TG resin system with a layer of graphene to help dissipate heat. The braking power and reliability is significantly improved over a basalt braking surface.

Non Disc - Grooved Graphene Surface: Our new resin system and construction method, combined with the 3k rim track, withstands over 280°C, dissipates heat, and lowers rim temperatures faster in between braking efforts. Gain confidence-inspiring brake performance on the steepest descents and wettest conditions with our matching brake pads. Also, graphene added to the rim brake track allows for greater resistance to overheating with improved heat dissipation and reduced temperature accumulation during heavy braking. The grooved track helps evacuate trapped moisture between pad and rim in wet conditions, and brings more resistance and force at the lever when conditions are dry.

Drain Hole This is a required option.

The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.

It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.

Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

We use a lightweight black alloy anodized valves with an oversized concave collar for easy gripping. A rubber o-ring goes in between the rim and the collar to help seal the rim and match the contour of the rim profile. The valve core is removable so you can add sealant without removing your tire.

Weighing in at only 405 grams, the R25 is built to fly up the climbs like never before. Our lightest road option will have you chasing KOMs and personal bests every time the road begins to tilt upwards.

The New Gen Aero shaped 25mm deep profile is easy to control in crosswinds and comfortable on long rides. The 17.9mm inner width is a great match for a 23mm road tire, a 33mm Cyclocross tire, and everything in between.

Hi George, We have the last two R25 (25mm wide, 25mm deep) rims stock in our Canadian warehouse right now. There would be no tax for you since it's domestic. So if you place the order today, I can probably hold them for you. The specs of the 700C rim brake rims are 20H/24H, graphene brake surface, UD, matte, no decals. Hi, My friend just ordered a set of AR46 Falcon wheels yesterday with DT Swiss 350 hubs. I was planning to order a similar set, but with R25 Falcon for rim brakes. He said you're currently out of the DT Swiss 350 and offered him the 240s hubs as a replacement, with no up charge in cost. If I order a wheelset, would you offer the same DT Swiss 240s hubs? IF so, how do I place the order- just order as 350 and you will email me to confirm the swap? Thanks, Don

Hi Don, Is it possible for you to provide the full configurations of the AR46 28mm wide road disc wheels you are looking for so I can check with the availability for all components and quote accordingly? The hub inventory is dynamic status. But 240 hubs are almost run out. The DT SWISS stop producing 240s when the new 240 EXP was released. Hello Marc, Thanks for your inquiry. According to your info, we’d like to recommend our 25mm wide U shape 25mm wheels. It is our lightest wheelset. Also, the U shape rim is with New high TG resin which will provide better braking surface performance than basalt braking surface. The delivery cost is $78 for one wheelset to Spain by EMS (tax isn’t included). Recently, we are working with another delivery which provides a pre-paid customs service.
