Drain Hole This is a required option.

The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.

It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.

Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

We use a lightweight black alloy anodized valves with an oversized concave collar for easy gripping. A rubber o-ring goes in between the rim and the collar to help seal the rim and match the contour of the rim profile. The valve core is removable so you can add sealant without removing your tire.

Our 34mm wide AM728 rims have become our most popular asymmetric product thanks to its versatility. The enduro version is a heavier weight due to the additional reinforcement. The thicker walls can handle heavier and more aggressive riders making this the best choice for Enduro style riding. I purchased a EN728 and AM728 hoops to build up. what spoke length do you use for Hope PRO 2 hubs 32H in a 3cross lace pattern? Also can a local purchase be made for what I need? Thanks

I checked with our builder, and below are the spokes length we use for EN728 and AM728 wheels built with Hope pro2 32H hubs. -Lacing pattern: 3 cross for front & rear -Front wheel: 264mm-NDS and 266mm-DS -Rear wheel: 265mm-NDS and 265mm-DS Due to the complexity and variations with calculating spoke lengths, we cannot guarantee the spokes will be the perfect length for your wheels. For this reason, it will be better if you double check the spokes length with your own builder. Because for different builders and lacing pattern, the spokes length will be different. It is best to source the spokes locally, however we can also sell them if they cannot be purchased locally. Thanks, Light-bicycle

Hello Mark, Thanks for your contact. I double checked with our builder, and we will use below spokes length for EN728 wheelset built with Hope pro4 J-bend 6-bolt 32H hubs. But the spokes length are not what we recommend, and just for your reference. -Lacing pattern: 3 cross for front & rear -Front wheel: 264mm-NDS and 266mm-DS -Rear wheel: 265mm-NDS and 265mm-DS Due to the complexity and variations with calculating spoke lengths, we cannot guarantee the spokes will be the perfect length for your wheels. Hi, I am looking to buy a pair of carbon mountain bike rims AM 728 or EN728. I have a pair of Hope Pro4 hubs 110 Boost front and 148 Boost rear, both 32 hole. Can you please tell me what length of spokes I would need or can you supply me with the spokes I would need? Regards Gordon

The spokes length we use for AM728 or EN728 wheels (built with Hope pro4 boost 32H hubs & DT competition race spokes) are as below. -Lacing pattern: 3 cross for front & rear -Front wheel: 264mm-NDS/ 266mm-DS -Rear wheel: 266mm-NDS/ 264mm-DS The spokes we use are DT competition race spokes. We can supply the spoke also. It is $1.67/pcs including nipple. If you use other brands, the length will be slightly different. It will be better if you double check the spokes length with your builders. Because different builders and lacing pattern will use different spokes length. Thanks, Light-bicycle
